Meet Kyla Wallace, the person behind the lens

Based in Waxahachie, photographing since 2025

I am a young married woman, blessed with two beautiful children and a life that, while often challenging, is rich in love, faith, and growth. My husband and I are learning—day by day—how to navigate the complex layers of marriage, parenting, and simply being adults in a world that doesn’t slow down.

Life hasn’t always been easy. We’ve walked through seasons where financial strain felt overwhelming, where balancing work, home life, and relationships pushed us to our limits. There were times we felt stretched too thin, wondering how we’d make it through the week—let alone the month. But even in those hard places, God never left us. His presence has been the steady hand guiding us through the storm.

One of the most defining moments in our journey came when our oldest son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. That diagnosis flipped our world upside down. Suddenly, we were not only parents—we were caregivers, medical decision-makers, and emotional anchors for a little boy facing a life-altering condition. The nights were long, and the learning curve was steep. There were moments of fear, frustration, and tears. But again, God met us there. In the quiet of the night, in the chaos of hospital rooms, and in the daily routines of blood sugar checks and insulin shots, His peace showed up. His strength became our own.

It’s in these very struggles that our faith has grown the most. We’ve learned to depend on God not just in theory, but in practice. We've seen how His provision often comes just when we need it—through an encouraging word, a helping hand, or unexpected support that reminds us we are seen and loved by a faithful Father.

Even in the middle of our imperfections and uncertainties, we cling to the truth that God's grace is sufficient. He’s taught us that we don’t need to have it all together to be held by Him. We’re still growing, still learning, still figuring things out—but we are doing it together, as a family, grounded in the love of Christ.

I don’t share this because we’ve figured it all out—I share it because we haven’t, and yet we have hope. Our story is still being written, and through every high and low, we trust the Author.
